We design, plan and develop electrical systems for various sectors to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

We are conversant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Mines Health and Safety Act as well as regulations for electrical equipment and machinery to ensure safety and compliance of designs.

We stay up to date with the most relevant technical industry standards including SANS 10142 for low and medium voltage electrical installations, SANS 780 and SANS 60076 for distribution transformers, SANS 61439 for low voltage switchgear assemblies and SANS 62271 for medium voltage switchgear to name a few, thereby ensuring the equipment specified complies with the latest requirements and provide the benefits in safety related therewith.

Project Management

We manage construction projects from initiation and planning phase to project close-out to ensure project deliverables as completed on time, budget and according to requirements.

Our project management approach follows the PMBOK guidelines, implementing process flows, internally developed processes and procedures as well as Microsoft Projects to allow for effective and active project monitoring and control.

Quality Assurance and Control

We provide technical and acceptance inspection of equipment during manufacture and installation to ensure equipment and installation work is completed to specification. These acceptance tests typically consist of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) phase and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) phase.

We have compiled various equipment specific inspection, testing and verification reports and methods to ensure that every aspect of standard, regulatory and customer requirements are verified for compliance during manufacture and installation.

Estimating, Procurement Assistance and Cost Control

Using our cost database and relations with various suppliers we provide cost estimation for green and brown field projects. Our services include assistance with procurement which includes generation of specifications and bill of quantities (BOQ), preparation of request for quotations/tenders. Technical evaluation and adjudication of tenders.

We have provided cost estimates for various large scale projects in accuracy ranging from desktop order of magnitude to feasibility and execution dependent on project and client requirements.

Electric Vehicle & Energy Storage Systems Design

Battery packs, chargers, traction drive system & controls, cooling systems design, engineering and integration services.

In partnership with Battery Powered Industries (BPI) we have assisted in the design, development and implementation of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) as well as hybrid fuel-cell powered vehicles ranging between 30kWh to 400kWh energy storage, high-speed charging up to 250kW and high voltage systems up to 800VDC.

Audit Services

Auditing services, Safety and compliance auditing of all electrical MV/LV and control & Instrumentation installations

We prioritize safety above all else and have conducted numerous site and equipment design reviews and audit inspections to ensure that the safety of personnel comes first and foremost. We have experience in the various local and international standards regarding Safety Integrity Levels (SIL), Hazardous Operations (HAZOPs) and Failure Modes and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMEA and FMECA)

Earthing and Lightning Protection

In partnership with industry leading professionals we provide earthing and lightning risk assessments in accordance with IEC 62305, design calculations and drawings and conformance testing and certification. Annual testing and certification of earthing systems.
